Our Dress Code
We kindly ask our guests to join us in traditional Black Tie attire. This helps set the tone for an elegant, timeless evening and ensures everyone feels aligned with the formality of the celebration.
Guidance
-
Floor-length gowns are the standard for Black Tie.
Dressy mid-length dresses are acceptable if they feel elevated and evening-appropriate.
Fabrics like silk, satin, chiffon, crepe, velvet, and beading work beautifully.
Heels or dressy flats are welcome.
-
A classic tuxedo or Suit is expected.
Black bow tie/tie, dress shirt, and dress shoes complete the look.
Optional accessories: cufflinks, pocket square, studs, or a formal vest/cummerbund.
-
To help keep the overall look cohesive and elevated, we kindly ask guests not to wear:
Casual clothing (jeans, polos, t-shirts, sneakers)
Casual dresses or sundresses
Business attire (office suits or workwear)
Light-coloured outfits that resemble bridal tones (white, ivory, cream, champagne)
Outdoor boots, flip-flops, or overly casual footwear
If it feels more “daytime,” “casual,” or “office,” it’s likely not Black Tie.

June in Kelowna is warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures typically in the mid-20s°C (70s°F for our American friends) and cooler evenings once the sun sets.
The Okanagan Valley is known for its dry summer climate, so guests can expect comfortable weather with low humidity.
Our celebration is both indoor and outdoor, with our ceremony and cocktail hour taking place in the Garden and the Pavilion.
You may want to bring a light evening wrap, shawl, or blazer for after sunset.
Heels and dress shoes are suitable for the venue; no special footwear considerations are needed.
